PURPOSE + MISSION: 

Purpose: A ministry designed for people who have been mishandled and survived to become overcomers.

Mission Statement:  The acronym O.M.G. is a dramatic expression for Overcomer’s Ministry Group coined by founder and author Eugenia Buie.  The purpose for this ministry is to promote self-assessment and a safe place for healing through writing.  Eugenia’s first book “OMG! Get Ya Life” is just the beginning of the trilogy that God inspired her to write to resolve the experiences of her past, live in the truth of her present and believe in the purpose and hope of it all for her future.  Nothing happens by chance.  She was indeed a victim but NOW stands, speaks, walks and writes in her Victory!

Focus: To offer spiritual support and to begin the process of change in communities. To gather people together who have been oppressed by their past, motivate them into their healing, mentor them and re-present them as changed victorious overcomers so that they may become who God destined them to be.  Ultimately, lead them to becoming souls won to the kingdom of Christ.

O.M.G. is a non-clinical support group that will offer spiritual and emotional support to those that are in need of help overcoming trials, setbacks, and issues of their past and present.  It is a ministry that will facilitate peer support to the community.
